From 2009-2012 I served as a team leader for a learning community at Shanghai American School. While serving in this role I developed a platform, built with Drupal, that better helped our learning community move toward the accomplishment of our goals. Most of the functionality built was what one would expect in a tool that helped manage meetings and communication. One functionality that made this tool unique was the functionality I built based on our weekly student meetings. As tools for managing student information have been around for ever and newer tools like Goalbook emerge, using Drupal gave me the ability to customize the tool the unique needs of our organization and honor our current processes. I have written more extensively about the structure and process at the link below.
